Out on June 21st is "Introspect", a compilation album by the post-punk/new wave band Giant Waves, recently signed to SkyQode.

"Introspect" serves as a definitive collection of tracks from Giant Waves' previous albums, offering a comprehensive journey through the band's history. The album perfectly showcases their exceptional talent for crafting emotional and melodious songs that blend elements of post-punk, gothic rock, and new wave. Additionally, this compilation includes a brand new track titled "Empty Tombs," which provides a glimpse into the band's forthcoming third album scheduled for release later this year.

Formed in 2012 following the disbandment of their previous gothic rock project, Imaginary Stigma, Giant Waves have released two full-length albums and several EPs to date. Their unique eclectic blend of post-punk and new wave has garnered widespread acclaim from critics and fans worldwide, drawing comparisons to notable acts like Big Country, Lords of the New Church, and Echo and the Bunnymen.

Giant Waves is also recognized for their cold-pop side project called Karluv Tyn, which has been credited as one of the pioneers of doomerwave, alongside Molchat Doma.
